Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust
The Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust was set up in November 2015 after beginning its efforts in one school with 50 children. It now provides nutritious, well-balanced breakfast to more than 10 million school-going children in rural India — over 3 billion meals served since 2012.
It serves children across 1,50,000+ government schools and Anganwadis in 25 States and four Union Territories, enabling holistic development by actively engaging with school authorities.

Annapoorna started operations in July 2012 by a few volunteers, and has now blossomed into a platform for more than 3,00,000 volunteers to serve, besides thousands of teachers at the schools.
Thanks to many caring individuals, 150+ like-minded corporate organisations and institutional partners, and government servants, Annapoorna works in a decentralized model — for every ₹1 invested, the trust delivers ₹19.2 in social value.
